Hello, I’m Ash!
I’ve always been an avid maker. Whether it’s drawing, crafting, sewing or any other “ing”, I’m up for it. When I’m in a creative space, I enter a world all my own, where my mind has time to slow down, rest and reset.
I primarily work with second hand materials and fuse those with sewing and painting to give those discarded pieces a new life. As someone with ADHD, my work explores ideas mental health along with representation.
I love to laugh, or rather cackle, so I infuse humor as much as possible.

-I have the sweetest Treeing Walker Coonhound named Lucy Goose (named after Lucille Ball)
-I like being “over dressed” for mundane activities like running to the grocery store or post office.
-I love watching animated films. The vibrant colors and light hearted nature are reflected in my style and work.
-If I have a free day, you’ll find me drawing outside, or crafting something on my living room floor.
-Kettle popcorn is the best only way to eat corn
