Autumn Bucket List

EarthtoAshleighBucketList.jpg

Autumn is officially here, and that means it’s time for pumpkin spice everything. I’ve already started pulling out my fuzzy socks, chunky sweaters and beanies. This season always makes me want to snuggle up in my heated blanket with hot, apple cider. Yes, I like to be that warm.

Admittedly, I would consider myself one of the founding members of the Summer Forever Fan Club. However, this year, Autumn has a special place in my heart too. So much has happened in 2020, and I’ve decided there’s no reason not to embrace the season. I’m sad to summer go, but change is essential for growth.

Since I spent the first six months of 2020 inside, I thought it would be fun to kick off the season with an Autumn inspired, bucket list of outdoor adventures. I also included crafts and recipes on the list because both help me relax and calm my mind after work.

As you can see, I’ve already crossed apple and pumpkin picking off my list. My husband Joe and I went to a local orchard together. Sadly, due to a bad frost during harvest time, we weren’t able to pick apples off actual trees. Thankfully, that didn’t stop our fun one bit. We picked apples out of large crates, and bought just about everything with the word apple printed on it ––cider, jelly, and plethora of baked goods. We had such a lovely time, and I was pleased to be out of sweatpants for once.
